PTML boss, Aremu, promoted to ACG

The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd), has approved the promotion of Mrs. Modupe Adeyanju Aremu, the Customs Area Controller of Ports & Termimals Multi-Services Logistics (PTML), to an Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG).
As a result, she has been posted to the Customs headquarters as the Acting ACG incharge of Strategic Research & Policy (SR&P).
According to a statement from the Public Relations Officer of the Service, Mr. Joseph Attah, two other Deputy Comptrollers were elevated as Acting Customs Area Controllers (CACs).
They are Deputy Comptroller Agbara Ojobo Michael, who is now the Ag. CAC of Ogun command and
In the same vein, according to Attah, eight other officers were redeployed including Comptroller Adetoye Francis, who now moves from Adamawa/Taraba command to the PTML; Comptroller Loko Yusuf, from SR&P to Abia/Imo command and Comptroller Ajiya Kashim, from Human Resources and Development to Customs Training College Ikeja, Lagos.
Also Comptroller Sani Madugu of Ogun command has been moved to Enforcement HQ and Deputy Comptroller Dangaladima Sambo Khalid, moved from SR&P to Presidential Task Force on Cross Border Movement.
The statement added that the CGC has charged the affected officers to see their appointments and redeployments as opportunities to build on the gains of the on-going reforms for enhanced service delivery.
